Digital Prospecting Strategies

  • West End Neighborhood Library 2301 L Street Northwest, WEE Meeting Room Washington, DC, 20037 United States (map)

Digital Prospecting is a new set of strategies deployed to either discover new major gift prospects outside your database, reach prospects for whom you do not have contact information, or as a methodology for warming and sorting highly rated qualification pools. In this session, Barett Christensen, director of digital at Bentz Whaley Flessner, will share examples from institutions like the University of Texas-Austin and California’s Sustainable Conservation. From UT Austin, you will see how warming and scoring 30K highly rated prospects helped to narrow a qualification pool and increase gift officer success. From Sustainable Conservation, you will see how leveraging external databases has created a new source for finding and engaging high-value prospects.
