Attending Prospect Development 2015 in New Orleans? Sit in on sessions presented by APRA DC Board Members Rachel Collins and Thomas Turner! 

Rachel's session titled "The Medium Changes the Message: Designing Better Data Visualizations" is Friday, July 24 - 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Focusing on relationship management and data analytics, the session will cover how to move beyond simple reporting towards true evaluation of data visualization.

Thomas's session titled "Researching Public Filings with Success" is also Friday, July 24 - 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The session will focus on how to use filings like those of the SEC, FINRA and IRS Form 990s to inform prospect researchers about estimated giving capacity as well as corporate ownership, salaries and benefits.

Do you have a unique prospect research topic, whether it be a personal experience, a case study on a project you or your organization is undertaking or a contemporary look on a topic covered in other fundraising and philanthropy publications? APRA Metro DC to offer MARC scholarship

The Board of APRA Metro DC is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for our scholarship to MARC 2015. To support the professional development aspirations of its chapter members, APRA Metro DC will award one scholarship to the 2015 Mid Atlantic Researcher's Conference, which will cover the cost of early-bird registration.

Applicants must be APRA Metro DC chapter members, so click here to join or renew your membership prior to submitting an application. Applications must be submitted by December 1, 2014.
